Queens Theater in the Park
In May 2009, The News in Revue moved into our new home at Queens Theatre in the Park. We’re proud to inaugurate the state-of-the art Cabaret Room. Remember, The News in Revue changes whenever the news does, so come visit us every Saturday night at 8:00 for our own special brand of musical madness!
Queens Theatre in the Park is located in Flushing Meadows Corona Park in the New York State Pavilion designed for the 1964 World’s Fair by Philip Johnson. The Pavilion was converted to a theatre in 1972. Since 1993, Queens Theatre in the Park has housed a 464-seat main stage and a 99-seat studio theatre. They’ve recently completed a $23 million physical transformation of the Theatre, adding the new cabaret space with a full-service café and kitchen facility. The News in Revue is proud to play in a such a beautiful and welcoming new space!
